Metro-meds.net was a former web drugstore that existed since 2014. The shop today now redirects to ww1.metro-meds.net and is now offline. There is no web information regarding the store’s disappearance, but like the online pharmacies before it, the store may have closed down due to lack of popularity. Since reviews for this web drugstore did not exist (at least reviews from its former clients), it is difficult to determine the real reason behind this shop’s closing and its past performance.
The store Metro Meds Net, according to its web archive information, served the clients from 2014. The store only dealt with generic impotence treatments, which were mostly made in India, by renowned generic manufacturers. Generic versions of the top three erectile dysfunction medicines (Viagra from Pfizer, Cialis from Eli Lilly, and Levitra from Bayer/GSK) were the ones found on Metro Meds Net. Buyers have enjoyed uncommon generic variants of these items on Metro Meds Net, like for instance, chewable tablets, oral jellies and more, variants that were different than the regular variants.
Top products sold by the Metro Meds Net store were the following:
- Sildenafil Soft Tabs Viagra
- Sildenafil Oral Viagra
- Sildenafil Citrate Viagra
According to the store, all of its products were available for the customers even without them providing any prescription for their orders. Although this was not ideal, online pharmacies usually allow no-Rx purchases since they are really not “pharmacies” and are actually online pharmacy services. Since this is the case, online pharmacies dispense products without pharmacists and hence require no prescriptions from their clients. Although this is really not ideal, buyers love that they aren’t required by the online drugstores to provide their Rx since the whole point of buying medicines online is really to bypass embarrassing face-to-face consultations especially for stigmatized diseases such as erectile dysfunction, HIV, and others. In the case of Metro Meds Net though, the shop employed the service of an online doctor so the buyers were written free prescriptions along with their orders.
Based on the information I was able to gather on the former Metro Meds Net website, the shop accepted payments from credit cards (Eurocard, MasterCard, VISA, and AMEX) and bank transfer. Metro Meds Net did not accept PayPal payments.
Metro Meds Net did have a phone number for buyers to reach out to, but since the store is now offline, buyers would not be able to reach out to Metro Meds Net soon.
I checked for Metro Meds Net customer reviews on the web, but apparently, Metro Meds Net was another store that did not have online reviews for its service. There are a couple of reasons why this was the case and I think that Metro Meds Net did not have reviews because:
- It was unpopular or hard to find
- The store failed to provide means for the buyers to review it or the store failed to encourage buyers to review the store
- The reviews weren’t search optimized and therefore don’t show up on search results
Although I found several blog reviews for Metro Meds Net (most of them were quite negative about Metro Meds Net), these reports were not from individuals who have had actual experience purchasing from the web pharmacy. All of them were just opinions of authors for this web pharmacy and were therefore subjective.
Metro-meds.net Reviews 2018
I am not sure whether Metro Meds Net closed down during 2018 or years before 2018, but regardless of whether the shop was closed in 2018 or earlier, the store still did not have 2018-dated reviews. To be able to at least know something about the present status of the Metro Meds Net store, I tried to look up the Metro-meds.net web address on several third-party domain assessment websites:
According to the Scam Adviser report, the store Metro Meds Net was hosted in Switzerland but its owner was located in the United States. Scam Adviser has also determined that Metro Meds Net was listed as a “Rogue site” sometime in its lifespan because of accompanying malware or virus issues.
Scamner.com, another site I’ve used, on the one hand, has determined that Metro Meds Net had been working for several years (which was a good thing) and was not yet listed by Google as an unsafe store. However, according to Scamner, Metro Meds Net did not have trust records and did not own an SSL certificate which supposedly guarantees buyer safety whenever transacting with the shop.
Metro-meds.net Coupon Codes
Unfortunately, Metro Meds Net did not have any coupon code or special discount for its buyers, which was probably one of the reasons why it was unpopular with clients. Nevertheless, the shop did have the following special offers:
The store offered special prices to customers who were willing to purchase special ED product packs. Unfortunately, apart from these special products, the store did not have freebies, free shipping, or other similar offers.
Metro-meds.net was another exclusive seller of generic erectile dysfunction medications. This online drugstore did have good prices for its products but was not really the cheapest ED store on the web market. Metro Meds did not have online reviews, which does not bode well for the site. However, even if this was the case, I can’t confirm if the store was a problematic shop because there were also no existing complaints about the site.
